The reason for the error is that there are more stations processing payments than there are licensed lanes. Restarting NETePay resolves this problem in the short term, but it may be necessary to increase the number of licensed lanes in order to stop the error from reoccurring.


To restart the NETePay, log onto the server and perform the following steps:

1. Open NETePay (Most likely this will be minimized on the taskbar)

2. Click on File » Exit

3. Double-click the NETePay shortcut icon on the desktop to restart NETePay

Once NETePay has restarted, it should now be possible to process the credit card payment.


Netepay director may be running as a service, in which case you will need to restart the service.
