Overview

Datacap Netepay 5.07.30 now uses a process to install and update Datacap NetePay.

  • Updates and processor changes are configured at Datacap PSCS Server.
  • Automatic updates
  • This software can be configured to run as a service so it will auto-start with a reboot of the workstation

Installation

  • Download and Install Netepay 5 Director
  • Obtain Serial Number
  • Enter the Deployment ID
  • Confirm Deployment ID
  • You must also allow TCP/IP PORT 9000 incoming through the Windows firewall.
⚠️ IT NOTICE:  Given this software will have other workstations on the network pointing to its IP address.  It is best practice to have the workstation receive a DHCP reservation on the router to avoid a restart of the workstation and getting a different IP address.

Additional Information

  • The service is called Datacap Director Service and is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Datacap Systems\NETePay
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Datacap Systems\NETePay\NetePayManager.exe is a monitor program that runs in the tool tray.
