Overview

We will sometimes need your computer's hostname if troubleshooting POS Device Manager issues on System Five on Cloud.  It may also be required for database or other on on-premises network events.  To find your computer's name (also known as the hostname), use the following methods. 


Windows 11

  1. From the start menu type "View your PC name"
  3. Your name will be beside the "Rename this PC" button.

Windows 10

  1. From the start menu type Settings
  2. Navigate to System, then About
  4. The device name (computer name) is displayed near the "Rename this PC" button.
