Overview
Sidekick is a companion application to System Five. It allows inventory lookup, order creation and stock counting from a mobile device such as a smartphone.
It uses our E-commerce Staging (ECS) platform technology and will require WindwardConnect configured to have inventory and order information sync back and forth between System Five and Sidekick
.
The current feature list includes:

- including pricing

- inventory levels

- Mobile Order Building
- Create an order for processing at System Five terminal
- Create an estimate to send to the customer via email or local printer
- How to create a Data Collection as well as general info
Sidekick does NOT:
- Process payments such as credit or debit cards
- Edit or update inventory information such as quantities, description, supplier or brand

Sidekick Client Device Requirements
- Wifi or cellular network availability
- Mobile or desktop device using one of the below browsers:
- Google Chrome, including Android & iOS - Latest Version (Tested 115.0.5790.102)
- Mozilla Firefox - Latest Version
- Microsoft Edge - Latest Version (Tested 115.0.1901.183)
- Apple Safari, including iOS - Latest Version (Tested Safari 16.5)
- For barcode scanning, the Zebra TC21 and TC26 are supported
