Overview

The steps outlined below are for disabling the Polaris integration when a customer decides to stop using the integration.  The Polaris integration uses the integration end points hosted in our cloud.

How to disable

Like the Polaris setup, WindwardConnect and S5WebAPI can be stopped if not needed by any other integrations.

1. Stop and update the WindwardConnect service to no longer start.
2. Stop and update the S5WebAPI service to no longer start
3. Edit the customer in Real Windward or ask the account manager to remove the LINE_POLARIS lookup word. This is used for reporting back to Polaris and needs to be removed to avoid conflicts.
4. Create a ticket to for Cloud Operations to offboard the company storage and alert triggers in our internal “DevOps – Integration Platform-CSP” subscription.
