IMPORTANT: Currently there are issues with the new Version 5 stylesheet, and this upgrade to must not be done. All XO Lights clients MUST remain on their current Version 2 or version 3 stylesheets until the issues have been resolved. Do not use the V4 stylesheet under any circumstances as it was only used in testing and was not intended for release. Any questions regarding this should be directed to Steven Wind at Windward Software Support. |
There are two versions of the XO Lights Stylesheet in use and each stylesheet MUST match the invoice file that XO Logic is placing in their FTP. If these files are mismatched they will cause many errors in the customer' dataset. The most troublesome issue is that once the invoice is imported into System Five, the customer name on the invoice WILL change when you open it.
Another issue is occasionally happening in tandem with this is that the customer that is attached to the invoice is changing to a supplier account.
Once this happens each invoice will need to be fixed by MANUALLY changing the customer back to the correct one by either the customer checking the invoice on the XO Lights Website or by a Windward Software Tech opening the downloaded invoice file from XO and changing the System Five invoice to match the name in the XO Lights invoice file.
*** NOTE *** There was an interim Stylesheet V4 that was created by programming back in December that isn't valid and should not be used. That stylesheet is broken and should be deleted from all customer datasets that you see it in.
How to tell the difference between the Version 3 and Version 5 stylesheets.
The simplest way is to check the header in the XO Lights invoice file.
These are stored in a ProcessedFTPImports folder in the client's Data folder.
You can open these files with notepad to check the format.
V3 invoice format should look like this:
V5 invoice format should look like this:
When comparing the two versions, notice that the V3 fields have changed from Phone to BillingPhone, Email has changed to BillingEmail, ShipingToAddress has been changed to ShippingAddress and the incorrect spelling of Shipping has been corrected on the ShippingCity, Shipping State and ShippikngZip header fields.,
You MUST NOT change the Stylesheet version unless you are absolutely sure that the invoice format matches that version.
