Screen customization for System Five
The screen customization typically used for the rental screen in version 7 does not require the S5AppServer as the previous version of 6.x required. Start from scratch with version 7.0.0.473 or greater as previous screen customization will not be compatible.
Warning – Screen customization may cause display problems. Before reporting a defect, test without screen customization. The user is responsible for fully testing the screen after customization. Moving items to another tab that may disappear or hiding required fields may cause the system to appear to lock up.
If you get stuck, select Delete all customization and start again.
Steps
- Ensure to use version 7.0.0.473 or greater
- Navigate to the Setup Wizard
- Select Miscellaneous Screen Customization Management
- Choose to enable for the terminals
