Global Payments Canada - Verifone P400 - VSD Encryption Error Print

Overview

When processing with Global Payments Canada using the Verifone P400. You may receive an error when doing an EMV Parameter Download or when processing Credit Card you receive a "Error TRANSACTION NOT COMPLETE - Expected VSD Encryption Got - PKI"

Solutions

You may have selected the wrong PINpad type.
Re-install the PINpad driver.
The PINpad may be encrypted with the wrong end to end encryption. Try swapping the PINpad to see if it will work with an existing device. If it does not work, the PINpad may need to be replaced. Call Global Payments for a replacement.
