Sales tax is defined by where the product is being delivered not for where the product is being purchased.
Tax Priority Setup allows for setting Tax priorities to allow for charging tax against the “ship to” customer, and if not present, then falling into the next priority of the customer tax area. A third priority will apply to Department setup only and allows for the department to be used when no ship to or customer is present.
