- When a user with access to all departments logs out of system 5, the department setting is memorized for whatever terminal that was signed into e.g. if a full-authority user logs out when the department is set to department 1. Then, if the next user (Demo in the screenshot example) only has authority to sign into department 2, he cannot proceed because System Five remembered that department 1 was the last login, but this user can only log into department 2. Department 1 in the department drop-down will be greyed out for him. The work-around is that the higher authority user has to log in, set the department to 2, and then log out. Then, the lower authority user can log into department 2. Or, the user could pick a different Terminal Number that had last been set to department 2.
- This is by design as a terminal number should always be physically located in one department (either 1 or 2 in this case). It is not logical to System Five that one user would be working in the wrong department on that terminal.
