Overview

A Pervasive status 171 error is can be due to the user's rights to the data files.  In this solution, it can be caused by the Use Cache Engine being set.


Follow steps below to set the Use Cache Engine


1. On the start menu, type PSQL Control Center & Documentation or PCC if Pervasive 12 and Zen Control Center & Documentation if PSQL 14.



2. Then, Configure MicroKernel Router. 



3. Look for Performance tuning, make sure Use Cache Engine is unchecked.  Then hit OK. That should fix it.
