To see the barcode in the Scanable Barcode field of the Design Inventory Report, the 3of9 font must be installed on the computer. Without this font, the scanable barcode format can't be generated in System 5. If you do not have this font installed a free version can be downloaded on line, or click on this link fre3of9x.zip
Because it is a True Type Font (.TTF), it will work with all Windows Operating Systems.

Once you download it you will need to extract it, and then right-click on the file and select Install from the popup menu.

Now, from the Design Inventory Report Window

1. Go to the Columns tab and add in the columns needed for this report. But also include the field "Scanable Barcode" in.
2. Select that field and set the FONT type as Free 3of9
3. View the report.

Note

You might want to try different 3of9 barcode fonts to get your desired output. You can search for free ones from the internet.
