Dataset Is Not a Polling Dataset

If you get an error saying your dataset is not a polling dataset, but license codes are OK…

Check the polling and WEAR checkboxes in Setup Wizard License options. These check boxes don't always get a check mark in them when the license codes are installed.

If this doesn't fix the issue, this error can also be caused by an invalid recstate.btr file. Rename it and see if it fixes the error. Programming says it is a record state tracking file that hasn't been fully implemented, so it can be safely deleted.
